Our School

Sotomayor Arts and Sciences Magnet strives to be the heart of college and career-ready education in the Northeast Los Angeles area. We provide our students and families with programs focusing on our arts and sciences theme. Students are given the choice of electives including but not limited to art, agriscience, technical theater, theatre, and music.

Students in grades 9-12 can access a complete comprehensive athletics program. Our robust advanced placement program offers AP math, science, English, social studies, visual art, and foreign language courses. Our classes are capped at 27 students. We can inspire students to develop an authentic love for academic achievement and career exploration. Our campus is located in Northeast Los Angeles in the community of Glassell Park on the Sonia Sotomayor Learning Academies Campus. We combine traditional academic studies with innovative, real-world curricula.
